GALERIE VON&VON is pleased to present the JÖRG WALZ COLLECTION, the first photography exhibition by Jörg Walz in Nuremberg. The spectacular photographs of Porsche miniature models will be shown for the first time from 20.11.2018-02.02.2019 in the gallery's rooms at Lorenzer Straße 31.
In over 100 strictly limited editions, the photographer traces the rich and eventful history of the Porsche brand and its models. In the process, he places different models around the world and captures them in breathtaking settings from sporty angles with the iPhone. In this way, even impressive monuments such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the skyscrapers in New York's Times Square appear like miniatures compared to the 1:43 scale models.
The exhibition highlights the lively history of the sports car manufacturer. Visitors can look forward not only to the numerous sports car models from the now 70 years of Porsche's sports car history. Also on display are numerous racing cars as they celebrated successes at Le Mans, the Nürburgring, the Targa Florio, the Paris-Dakar Rally and countless other motorsport events. Concept studies and the latest futuristic designs are not neglected either. And, of course, the Porsche 911 as the epitome of the brand will be honored from very unique perspectives.
